KIC-Kids in Confirmation
What is KIC?
KIC stands for Kids In Confirmation. KIC is a Christ-centered program designed to walk with students as they explore what it means to believe in God and make decisions that will shape their future. Our goal is that students will decide to follow Jesus and their lives will be transformed through this experience. KIC is on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm.
Orientation and Registration
Orientation for this upcoming year for students in grades 7 - 9 and their parents will be Wednesday evening, September 16, at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. Registration materials are being mailed to your home, are available by clicking here and also available to pick-up at church.
Because Pastor Amy wants the very best for our students, she has reviewed many resources and has selected Augsburg Fortress' Here We Stand curriculum. Like those famous words spoken by church reformer Martin Luther, this curriculum is focused on the essentials of our faith and the gift of God's grace. Please click this link for a sample of the student book on "How to Tell the Difference between Cheap Grace and Regular Grace." It's a resource that has God's Word at its core and a high dedication to engaging our everyday lives and questions with God's love and faithfulness. Please check it out and invite others to do so too. It's going to be good!
