KIC stands for Kids In Confirmation. At KIC, we are deeply intentional with guiding youth on how to live out their faith, building on the knowledge they have already gained. At this pivotal age, youth are learning a multitude of skills—from playing musical instruments and engaging in sports to excelling in academic classes. Their learning journey is continuous, and it should extend to their spiritual growth as well.
At KIC, we emphasize teaching youth how to:
- Live out their faith in their everyday lives.
- Embrace and embody the principles of discipleship.
- Understand and practice the sacraments.
- Navigate and uphold their beliefs in a world that often challenges their faith.
By focusing on the "how," we ensure that the youth are equipped not only with knowledge but also with practical tools and guidance to remain steadfast in their faith amidst life's many distractions and challenges. KIC is a welcoming place to be for students in grades 5-8.
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm beginning mid-September.
The cost is $50.
